  • Join a school study group-if your school has study groups for different subjects, then you should join a study group. Work will always go quicker if you can have a support system. If your school does not have study groups, see your guidance counselor and ask if you can have them set up.
  • Go to teacher extra help-you can go to some or all of your teacher’s help days, and get a lot of work done. Make sure you know what days and what times these events are being held. You can get a lot of work completed in an hour’s worth of time with teacher help.
  • Eat and rest properly-there is often an energy drop right after school, so make sure that you are sleeping enough and eating nutritional foods. Doing these things will make a big difference in your energy level. Take care of yourself.
  • Use the beginning of the hour and the last ten minutes-if you open your book the moment you enter a room and work, you will find that you can accomplish a lot in a small amount of time.
